Stirring Up Trouble
Throughout my life I haven't been the best April Fool's prankster. I'm the one who believed Snoop Dogg got baptized a became a member of the LDS church last year. I am working on changing that. When I think of April Fool's, I think of my Grandma Harris. She LOVES to pull pranks on the special day. I have some other family members...perhaps my father...who also like to pull sneaky pranks. I need to be a part of this!

I've Just Got To
I need to give a shout out to one of my two talented big brothers. You must check out his new Company Wakeboards website!!!

For years Justin has been involved heavily in the wakeboard industry. He has gone from producing wakeboard videos for major companies to now creating his very own wakeboard brand. You can read more about it on the website, I'm sure it'll be more clear than me trying to explain it...it's ingenious!
You see the thing is Justin is a modest individual. He just loves what he does and does it well...doesn't let the attention get to him...at least doesn't act like it ;) He works with all walks of life and they respect and admire him. He has splendid qualities that have assisted him in his success. I'm just proud of him is all. Yay!

Bizzeee
Since Friday the 13th things have been a little crazy. I think it was the 17th I moved to Utah. I'm living in a great house with 3 great gals! So for a few months I will be here...then...there are a few other options but I mainly just wanted to mix things up and have some fun up here. So far..success! I've been able to see friends and cousins and my sweet grandmother. We are actaully in the process of working on a 2000 piece puzzle. It's so difficult but so rewarding...even when just a few pieces are found! We also play games together and watch Wheel of Fortune and eat meals together. I love it. Not to mention meeting new people is always fun. Then I'm still doing hair every other weekend in Vegas. It's been working out so far. I'm trying to find a job here for the week days..and also getting my cosmetology license here to work at a salon. It's been a pretty smooth transition.
There WAS a little bump in the road. I parked my car in the slc airport parking garage last Wednesday when I flew home. I came back to Utah today and I go to pay for 3 and a half days of parking. Guess how much??? Nope you didn't guess it right because it was $112.00. Yeah. I was fuming!! Lesson learned - park in ecomony parking outside- garage is not worth it.
It's only money...
Anyway, life is good. My sister in law put up a few pictures of our family vacation in Missouri and these are a few I love. There are more of the whole family but these are just me and my wonderful brothers!

Funky and Peculiar
If you haven't noticed, this week held a few full moons. I am convinced that kooky things happen when it's a full moon. Here's a photo to get the feel of my uncanny week...
Not to mention...it's...
Without getting into much detail...this week has been odd. For instance: I had a few unexpected run ins with people. Normally I crash under pressure and give in when I am in a silly/awkward sitation....not this week...I've been feeling very courageous and been able to stand up for myself more than usual.
And don't forget that TM and I drove to California Tuesday night and while we were driving, both of us, at the same time, started feeling really really weird. Like a cloudy head..I don't know how to explain it..and then we saw a falling star right before our eyes! Eerie...It was like a spell was cast!! So anyway, we slept that night and then saw Cat Power in LA, which was amazing! Then drove home Wednesday night and got back to Vegas at 4am...oh boy....but we were successful at staying awake. The last 45 minutes were rough but we sang, screamed, stuck head out of the window... to stay awake. You know...the normal things you do to stay awake.
Now it's a stormy Friday the 13th and we are going to celebrate it by having spooky treats and watching a scary movie. Perhaps even paint faces. FUN!
The week isn't over yet...I know it's not that crazy...but it is a little. Admit it. I wonder what's in store for me tomorrow. Wait, I'm working. After work....there will be something in store!
